Carmen OCR RailCode
Software technology for recognising railway rolling-stock numbers. It supports identification systems that use video cameras and computing equipment selected for the conditions of the site.
How it works
As a railway wagon or container passes a control section, the system records images, isolates the identification marks and recognises them.
The data can be combined with the passage time, photographs and other information from the control point.
The results are transferred to the customer's information system for further recording, control and processing.
Additional capabilities
Depending on the project requirements, the system can be extended with wagon and axle counting, recording of train-passage events, a photo archive and integration with other railway-control subsystems.
The set of additional functions and the required equipment is determined during design.
